Dr. Rakshanda Showkat

Teaches: Unsaturated Soils and Numerical Modelling

Dr. Rakshanda Showkat is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at BITS Pilani, Rajasthan. Her research focuses on the mechanical and hydromechanical behaviour of unsaturated soils, suction-controlled and cyclic triaxial testing, constitutive modelling, rainfall-induced soil behaviour and numerical modelling. She also applies probabilistic analysis and machine learning to geotechnical problems.

Dr. Ravikumar Guntu

Teaches: Flood Risk and Climate Resilience

Dr. Ravikumar Guntu is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at BITS Pilani. A hydrologist trained at IIT Roorkee, he specialises in compound events, flood-damage modelling, hydroclimatology, climate adaptation and natural-hazard risk assessment.
